About Me
Daniel Bachelis has played the piano ever since he was 5 years old, and has spent the last 4 years pursueing a degree in piano performance. A big fan of musicals, he has accompanied numerous musicals, including Babes in Arms, Kiss Me Kate, and Ragtime just to name a few, and most recently was the music director of Michigan State University’s 2009 Spring Musical “Tommy.”
With scholarship he was assigned to accompany many different professors’ studios, including Trumpets, Vocalists, Oboes, Bassoons, Clarinets, and Violinists. He has also appeared as soloist with the MSU Philharmonic Orchestra. He is particularly interested in accompanying vocalists, and also gives vocal coaching.
Daniel is now currently teaching and performing in the Lansing and Metro Detroit Areas and has room in his studio for a few more students. In addition he accompanies voice lessons as well as recitals and juries. You can contact him by sending him an E-mail at bachelis@msu.edu
